Math

Good morning,

 Last week in math we made 3D shapes. We made them out of two things, toothpicks and blue tacks. For that task I made a cube. It was pretty hard to make because the toothpicks kept falling, but I managed to make it without getting it to fall. The cube had 6 faces, 12 edges and 8 corners.

Cantamath

  Kia ora Last week, we had been asked to join cantamath. There are a lot of things you do in cantamath, but as a class we all had to design a model and create it. We as a class have to make a poster for the new cantamath next year too.  There is one that we all can't participate on though, and it is you having to be in a team competing with other teams from other schools. They must compete by solving equations and they also need to be quick before the time runs out. We have about five weeks to finish our creations, after a week(or a month)(something like that) we will go to horncastle arena(We might not, because of covid19) For my creation, I am making these, but I might add more and change them slightly. Lit circle

Kia Ora, This week we started on lit circles. But before we started, we had to pick a book to read to explain about. I got a book called posted, it's a book about Anderson and middle school, him and his friend going through a crazy journey. We also had to pick what our job/task is.
