Second week of home school learning

Kia Ora,

On Monday we got a call on 9:30 am for instructions. After the zoom meeting, I went to the activity's we had to do. For my first activity I chose R.E because we had to try and finish them this week. I was on key idea three and got to key idea 4. After some R.E, I did writing, I wrote about a mature boy that started to write on his type writer and was amazed by the levitating letters in front of him starting to form. Meanwhile I did some math, I solved rounding decimals.

On Tuesday I started on my second math which was using tidy numbers, then compensate. When I finished I did more R.E, I got to key idea 5. After R.E, I went to reading, I did a slide presentation of hypothermia, it explains how it is caused, how you will react to it, how to take care of people who has it, and how you protect your self from getting it.

On Wednesday I did more R.E and I got to key idea six. After that I did reading, and I made a digital design of the mushroom camp. Then did some inquiry and put more to what I had done in in the past.

On Thursday I did more R.E and got to key idea seven, then finished off. After finishing I did some duo lingo and learnt some languages, it was really fun! I had a rest after that.

On Friday, which is today, I got sent an invite to white marshmallow around 10:40 am.  Me and my group finished solving two, about the burgers shop and the chocolate eggs. Then I made this blog, so I don't forget like I did last time.

Cantamath

  Kia ora Last week, we had been asked to join cantamath. There are a lot of things you do in cantamath, but as a class we all had to design a model and create it. We as a class have to make a poster for the new cantamath next year too.  There is one that we all can't participate on though, and it is you having to be in a team competing with other teams from other schools. They must compete by solving equations and they also need to be quick before the time runs out. We have about five weeks to finish our creations, after a week(or a month)(something like that) we will go to horncastle arena(We might not, because of covid19) For my creation, I am making these, but I might add more and change them slightly. Lit circle

Kia Ora, This week we started on lit circles. But before we started, we had to pick a book to read to explain about. I got a book called posted, it's a book about Anderson and middle school, him and his friend going through a crazy journey. We also had to pick what our job/task is.
