Week three home school

Good afternoon,

On Wednesday we started of with a zoom as always like on Monday. After the meeting, I did some inquiry, For my inquiry I made a slide show, and here is the link:

Inquiry took me a long time, there were so many facts I never knew about too, I never knew that coral reefs can build structures and block floods,storms, also enormous waves!
After inquiry I did math, it was about 2Ds and 3D shapes, I think I like 3D shapes more than 2D shapes, because they're more interesting, 2D shapes are just flat while the 3D shapes have more detail to it.

On Thursday I did reading, but there weren't any activities which wasn't good for me, because I love doing chapter challenge activities! I find them fun and relaxing to do. After reading I did the ten minutes task about challenges and opportunities, here is the link:

Then today I started with math at 10:30am, I had a really good group, we managed to finish, but the funny thing was, on the third question we kept getting different answers from each other. After math, I did more writing, there were lots of cool pictures to describe, I really like the  hyperbole with the train, the train look really long too.

Cantamath

  Kia ora Last week, we had been asked to join cantamath. There are a lot of things you do in cantamath, but as a class we all had to design a model and create it. We as a class have to make a poster for the new cantamath next year too.  There is one that we all can't participate on though, and it is you having to be in a team competing with other teams from other schools. They must compete by solving equations and they also need to be quick before the time runs out. We have about five weeks to finish our creations, after a week(or a month)(something like that) we will go to horncastle arena(We might not, because of covid19) For my creation, I am making these, but I might add more and change them slightly. Lit circle

Kia Ora, This week we started on lit circles. But before we started, we had to pick a book to read to explain about. I got a book called posted, it's a book about Anderson and middle school, him and his friend going through a crazy journey. We also had to pick what our job/task is.
