Cross country

Kia Ora,

This week on Tuesday, we did cross country in school because of covid(I like doing cross country in school because its feels much shorter than the original place)
(Anyways)We had to do it on a cold windy day, but on my opinion, I think it's a pretty good weather for cross country because after you run, you will cool down. On the bad side for the weather is it was pretty slippery.

The hillary hub went last because of technology, so we had to wait after lunch.

After lunch, we came to the basketball court and waited until Mrs Campbell and the other teachers came. They had announced that the year sevens go first which I think is good, because I won't have to suffer at the end of school.

"Ready, get set and go!"
I tried to catch up with the first person, but he/she was too fast.
(I don't want to assume gender)
What I think of cross country is that, it's very, very tiring, and healthy?
When I was running, it felt like an endless dessert that gobled me up keeping me locked inside its stomach burning my throat dry. What made me tempted to walk is my tiered foot, and also my breath lost.
After running six laps of the whole school, I finally finished and got in 9th place!!
I was pretty shocked, and I thought I would be in 12th or more, but I was 9th.

Thank you for reading
