Camp

 Good morning,

Hi, I'm Xhin.

Last week on Wednesday, we drove on a bus to Wainui camp. My group is called the Wainui waddlers.

For the first activity, we had kayaking. Kayaking is one of my favorite activity in campus. It was very fun, at first, I didn't really get the instructions, and I was struggling. But then when I got used to paddling, I caught up to my group. after paddling for a while, we played a paddle game, where we had to get a paddle, hold it on top of the sand and go left, right, and 360.

After the game, we went to the caves, but didn't go inside. We then went back to land, and put the boats n paddles where they were before so other people could use them.

After a while, we came back to campus, and took a 5 or ten minutes rest.

After taking a rest, and getting changed from our wet clothes we went over to archery. Archery was really fun, we had a practice, and then played games, one of them was that we had to make a cake. The white was flour, the brown was chocolate, the blue was milk, the red was sugar, and the yellow was egg. I was really proud, because I got the arrow on the red.

Cantamath

  Kia ora Last week, we had been asked to join cantamath. There are a lot of things you do in cantamath, but as a class we all had to design a model and create it. We as a class have to make a poster for the new cantamath next year too.  There is one that we all can't participate on though, and it is you having to be in a team competing with other teams from other schools. They must compete by solving equations and they also need to be quick before the time runs out. We have about five weeks to finish our creations, after a week(or a month)(something like that) we will go to horncastle arena(We might not, because of covid19) For my creation, I am making these, but I might add more and change them slightly. Lit circle

Kia Ora, This week we started on lit circles. But before we started, we had to pick a book to read to explain about. I got a book called posted, it's a book about Anderson and middle school, him and his friend going through a crazy journey. We also had to pick what our job/task is.
